Kurt Scherer

Kurt Scherer serves as the Director of the Booz Allen Hamilton Innovation Center in Washington, D.C.   His career has focused on the strategic transformation of commercial and government enterprises through innovation and growth strategies, market and ventures analysis, crowdsourcing, and organizational change and strategy.

Kurt has degrees from Harvard Business School and the U.S. Naval Academy, and certifications in Change Management from Georgetown University and in Design Thinking from the Austin Center for Design. Prior to joining Booz Allen, Mr. Scherer spent almost 10 years as an AH-1W Cobra helicopter pilot in the U.S. Marine Corps.
