Introduction

Micha Benoliel is a pioneering entrepreneur working on bringing free mobile Internet to the world. Micha co-founded Open Garden to build a new generation of mobile network leveraging the smart phone infrastructure. Open Garden created FireChat, the first messaging app that works when there is no Internet access. Micha’s interest in technology began at the age of 8 when he taught himself how to code on a Zenith PC that his father was using for accounting. Among the several telecommunications services, he launched in the last decade. Micha worked with Skype when he was running a VoIP platform, he was the first carrier to enable the launch of Skype In and Skype Out and other premium Skype services. Micha holds an MBA from the Weller Management School in France.
