Introduction

Fr. Mark serves as the liaison between Patrons who support art restoration and the Vatican Museums. By linking people all over the globe to the Vatican he advances the museum’s mission of spiritual and artistic expression. In addition to this important work, he has realized his priestly ministry by working as a spiritual director, retreat leader, and as author of two award-winning books: Meditations on Vatican Art and Meditations on Vatican Art: Angels. Fr. Mark regularly hosts patron visits to the Vatican and takes this occasion to celebrate their support and impress upon them the importance of their charge. He brings this message of spiritual and artistic understanding with him in his many travels to touch the lives of those who have devoted themselves to the continuance of our artistic traditions.
