Crowdsourcing for the Climate: Why Trees are the New Currency

Marie Noelle Keijzer

Trees are the solution to most of today’s biggest challenges. In this session, Marie will explain why a tree is the new currency to engage consumers, give us an overview on crowdsourcing for the climate, and tell us why trees are a big part of the solution to global warming. You will learn how climate change can be halted with the support of everyone, including large corporates, startups and consumers.

How much do you know about global warming? Did you know how many soccer fields are being destroyed every minute? The answer? 36! By the end of her 20 minute presentation, we will have destroyed 720 football fields. But the good news is, that the crowd can do something about it.
