Adrian Walker

Co-Founder, Boataffair

Adrian Walker discovered his passion for start-ups during his MBA at Imperial College London in 2014. He worked closely with some early and mid-stage start-ups in his role as Investment Manager in a Swiss Venture Capital fund, which further cemented his desire to pursue an entrepreneurial journey. One of his favourite hobbies was always boating, having obtained his license at the age of 18 in St. Tropez. Adrian always loved connecting people. With the emergence of technology and the sharing economy, all the elements to start his own venture came into place. He co-founded Boataffair in 2016 with the aim to disrupt the yacht charter market. Boataffair enables private and commercial boat owners to make more out of their under-utilised assets, to be in full control of the rental process and to become micro-entrepreneurs while boat renters find an authentic boating experience in a trusted community. The premium sharing economy for boats. Today, Boataffair has quality boats available for rental in over 12 countries worldwide and counting.
