JoJo Bahnam

Marie-José (JoJo) Bahnam leads XPRIZE’s Partnerships Program, harmonizing XPRIZE among an awe-inspiring ecosystem of corporate, government, nonprofit, and academic partners globally to broaden XPRIZE’s reach and realize a more optimistic future for humanity and for our planet.

Prior to joining XPRIZE, Bahnam was a Senior Manager at Deloitte Consulting where she led projects ranging from strategy development to implementation for major clients in the technology, education, financial services, and retail industries. At Deloitte Bahnam also led all efforts related to the firm’s relationship with Harvard University, programming to encourage greater diversity in the technology organization, and numerous education-focused initiatives. Leading up to her consulting career, Bahnam was a high school math teacher in Boston and a nonprofit leader at Citizen Schools, Inc., where she developed curriculum, trained teachers, built and nurtured partnerships with universities and high schools, and guided eighth-grade students and their families in Boston’s high-school selection process.

Bahnam holds a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School, a Master of Education from Northeastern University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Art History from Boston University.
