Introduction

Susannah Haan is the Secretary General of EuropeanIssuers, a membership association representing the interests of publicly traded companies in Europe. EuropeanIssuers aims to ensure that companies’ views are heard as users of capital markets on company law, corporate governance and capital market regulation. Before her appointment to European Issuers, Susannah was an adviser to the UK Financial Reporting Council, dealing with the Walker Review of bank corporate governance and the UK Stewardship Code for institutional investors. Susannah has also worked for Fidelity International, a major international asset management firm, the CBI (Confederation of British Industry) and Clifford Chance, a leading City law firm.
