Xiao Ma

Xiao is PhD candidate at Cornell Tech in Information Science. Her research focuses on self-disclosure, peer-economy, crowdsourcing, and trust. Xiao has published at top-tier venues such as The ACM Conference on Human Factors in Computing Systems (CHI), ACM Conference on Computer-Supported Cooperative Work and Social Computing (CSCW), and The Web Conference (WWW). Her most recent work explores the use of Web-based Virtual Reality (VR) technology for conducting realistic behavior studies at scale remotely. Xiao has been an invited speaker at various tech companies, research universities, and Grace Hopper Celebration.
