Crowdsourcing Week Europe 2014 Looks to Highlight Organizational Transformations Through The Crowd Economy
Singapore / Copenhagen / New York (May 20, 2014) – Crowdsourcing Week (CSW) announces its first European flagship conference in Copenhagen on October 14-16. CSW Europe 2014 will take place over three days at the IT-University in central Copenhagen with VIA University College as a strategic partner. CSW Europe 2014 will see decision makers from various sectors congregate to share and learn best practices on the crowd economy, that are fundamentally changing society, mindsets and possibilities for finance, business, government and non-profits.
Launched in 2012, Crowdsourcing Week is the first global conference dedicated to providing a multilayer platform to global innovators in crowdsourcing, crowdfunding and open innovation while equipping change leaders with tools to navigate the changing web. For 2014, Crowdsourcing Week events are focused on the theme, “Crowd Impact – Empowering Transformations” providing attendees with inspirational ideas, tools and mindset to bring crowd applications for social, economic and environmental well-being.
“Crowdsourcing is not an industry. It is not a technology. It is a mindset. It is a practice that accelerates a new kind of social productivity – one that is transforming our social DNA in a highly networked world. We are more open to sharing, crowdfunding and creating collaborative futures today than ever before. We want to empower new and existing leaders to lead this transformation from within their organizations,” says Epi Ludvik Nekaj, Founder and CEO of Crowdsourcing Week.
CSW Europe 2014 intends to develop and package cutting edge content for the European audience. Global pioneers in the crowd economy will take the stage at CSW Europe 2014 and will include: Tom Hulme – OpenIDEO, Nick Wright – Crowdicity, Mads Kjær – myc4.com, Shelley Kuipers – Chaordix, Jonathan Medved – OurCrowd and more to come.
