About Hjörtur:

Hjörtur is a storyteller and innovator who has worked with city innovation, place branding and startups for 15 years. Hjörtur has a background in anthropology and international relations and specializes in community building for projects and places. He is one of the experts at the Worlds Trends Forum and an advisor to Sochi on post-Olympic branding of the city. Hjörtur was one of the leaders of the house of ideas in Iceland, an initative to activate the public in innovation as a response to the economic collapse of 2008, a former university teacher on innovation and a popular speaker on crisis management and city innovation at universities and conferences worldwide.
