In my second video, I discuss how the shipping industry is being disrupted and its connection with sharing economy. Using DHL as a best example, the shipping company is known as one of the pioneers of its industry and the interesting part is how they established themselves before the internet age – successfully connecting the dots with their business model. I also share examples of today’s shipping firms who leverage on crowd-based business models and how they are reaping the benefits from crowdsourcing itself.
