The European Commission and organisations such as Brussels Metropolitan, Synthetron, Innate Motion and Siemens, amongst others, will be contributing to the conversation in Brussels.

The week opens with an invite-only opening night on Monday 19 October, a curtain raiser to the week. The following days these themes will be examined:

  • Tuesday 20 October: Accelerate Europe: Crowd Finance & Collaborative Innovation
  • Wednesday 21 October: Evolve Europe: Smart Cities & Mobility
  • Thursday 22 October: Sustainable Europe: Participatory Government & Energy Transition

On 23 October CSW Europe 2015 will culminate with an Entrepreneurial Finance Forum (invite only) and European FAIR for Entrepreneurial Finance & Growth (open to public) with the special participation of Jyrki Katainen of EU Commission Vice President for Jobs, Growth, Investment & Competitiveness to stimulate European entrepreneurship and investment.

“As bank for a changing world, BNP Paribas Fortis wants to be part of change and even be a real catalyst of change,” says Yvan De Cock, Head of Corporate and Public Banking Belgium at BNP Paribas Fortis. “Therefore we are really proud to host the Crowdsourcing Week Europe in Brussels and to welcome experts from all over the world who will inspire us to address important societal topics.”
