OurCrowd’s Global Investor Summit (Dec 9-10 in Jerusalem, Israel) will bring together an A-list selection of cutting-edge Israeli startups, experienced angel investors, and a diverse array of industry professionals, advisors and mentors,

Who is OurCrowd?  OurCrowd is an equity-based crowdfunding platform, built exclusively for a select group of accredited investors to provide venture capital funding for Israeli (and later global) venture capital start-ups. Membership in the community is vetted and offered only to people who meet the stringent accreditation criteria. Accredited investors who are accepted into the community can make minimum investments of $10,000 per deal. The platform offer its members the services and management of a Venture capital organization together with the flexibility and choice of angel investing.

Why Israel? Deal flow continues to rise in Israel with and there is huge pent up and growing demand among Israelis and foreigners to participate in Israel’s “StartUp Nation” culture. Each year in Israel there are 500+ venture financings and over 1000+ angel financings. Investors are ready to move beyond public stocks or mutual funds.

What will the Global Investor Summit entail? At the event at the Inbal Jerusalem Hotel, investors from around the world will come together to network, meet with the OurCrowd team, engage with portfolio companies and their management teams, and hear from industry experts and keynote speakers about technology, the future of crowdfunding, the Israeli economy, global markets and more.

OurCrowd has become the first Israel focused, equity-based investment platform to launch and one of the world’s leading accredited investor only platforms. We will be keenly following this event.
