The Conference

Crowdsourcing Week (CSW), is aiding a whole new generation of thinkers, innovators and leaders to break the norm; learn, adopt and practice crowd-centric aspects to problem solving. The 5-day conference, focussed on “Crowd-Impact: Empowering Transformation”, is designed to encourage multi-disciplinary learning by example.

Why this Matters

In a time of unprecedented connectivity, organizations, governments, and billion-dollar industries are embracing the crowd. The transformations taking place are shaping the future: Finance and investing are being flipped bottom-up with crowdfunding. Big data and citizen science are enabling new advancements. New markets and disruptive business models are emerging based on the sharing economy. Brands are collaborating and co-creating with their consumers. Education and healthcare are only beginning to explore the crowd, and the potential there is huge. Crowdsourcing is expanding rapidly and the number of companies & government agencies engaging in some form of crowdsourcing continues to grow exponentially. Now is the time for organizations to adapt and capitalize on these new opportunities, or risk losing relevancy and market share.

Tool-set for Innovators

This new business environment is all about efficiency, openness, and shared value. By providing a variety of networking opportunities and business development insights, CSW GLOBAL is set to help business leaders transform their organisations from within. With the global rise in crowdsourcing and crowdfunding ventures, there has never been a better time for organisations to capitalise on such growth opportunities.

Nearly 40 speakers from all over the world, including some of the pioneers in this space from Asia will participate in CSW Global ’14 and share their insights.  Among the participating companies and organizations are Crowd Companies, Chaordix, FutureBrand, NASA, iHub, WikiBrands.
