‘Crowdfunding Day’, the first conference in Amsterdam focusing on a new way of raising funds will be held on  April 15 at the VU University of Amsterdam. It will deliver strategic insights for anyone who wants to explore the possibilities of crowdfunding for both private and public organizations.

Douw-Koren-logo1‘Crowdfunding Day’, is organized by Douw&Koren, a crowdfunding consultancy that supports organizations in reaching their crowdfunding goals. It will bring together platform owners and experts, start-ups, innovation managers from the public and private sector, academic researchers, marketers and fundraisers. It is an event for professionals and entrepreneurs who want to learn more about crowdfunding and its success factors. The VU University of Amsterdam and the Amsterdam Economic Board are two of the main sponsors of this event.

An impressive line of speakers will include practitioners and thought leaders from all over Europe. ‘Crowdfunding Day is a part of a series of global one-day summits preceding Crowdsourcing Week in Singapore, the first global event on crowdsourcing, crowdfunding and open innovation, June 3-7.
