And its off to a great start! Crowdsourcing Week kicked off its second week-long conference in Singapore at the beautiful Genexis theatre at Fusionopolis, Monday night. Conference attendees, collaborators and VIP’s enjoyed a special night, celebrating the second year, meeting new contacts and reconnecting with old ones. All guests were treated to tasty appetizers and CSW’s official beer La Soccarada, an artisanal beer from Spain.
Epi Ludvik Nekaj, opened the week-long event, featuring over 50+ speakers and a full range of topics covering crowdsourcing, crowdfunding and open innovation, saying – “We, at Crowdsourcing Week want to be a catalyst for the movement towards the crowd economy, by bring the minds to our events.” He also thanked StarHub, the global partner for CSWGlobal ’14. Roger Yuen, senior advisor to the company suggested that the internet age has changed much and holds great promise for the crowd economy.
And there was a very special announcement, CSW’s next event in Europe – A two day summit in Brussels, Belgium with BNP Paribas Fortis as a premier partner. The two-day CSW Brussels summit will be the first of its kind in Brussels. The event will connect an expanding crowdsourcing community in Belgium to European and global innovators in crowdsourcing and open innovation. Building on CSW’s conference 2014 theme, “Crowd Impact: Empowering Transformation”, the CSW Summit Brussels will explore the ways crowd tactics, tools and customer-led innovation is transforming businesses, marketing, government, finance and more.
